Stainless steel belt for spiral conveyors
Spiral Grid Conveyor Belt

Spiral grid belts are built for spiral freezers, coolers and proofers, where the belt has to curve tightly while carrying product. High-tensile stainless steel spirals and strong welds keep the belt in shape, so it runs straight or through 180° and 360° turns without losing its smooth, open surface.
- SS304 / SS316 stainless
- 304.8–1376 mm wide
- Straight, 180° and 360° turns
- Side guards 24–38.1 mm
- Sprocket driven
Available as mesh overlay, rod-only, side guard and middle link designs, with sprockets made to order.

How a spiral grid belt is built
The belt is woven on an advanced digital mesh weaving machine. Its spirals are made from high-tensile wire, so they resist deformation under load.
A smooth surface and strong welds let it run straight or around tight curves, and it stands up well to pressure and stress.
It's designed for easy maintenance and disassembly, and comes in mesh overlay, rod-only, side guard and middle link versions.
Why choose a spiral grid belt
- Smooth belt surface with excellent airflow and ventilation – hygienic and easy to clean.
- Sprocket drive for reliable, stable running, straight or curving through 180° or 360°.
- High-tensile spiral wire gives exceptional wear resistance.
- Belt edges are finished to keep a consistently smooth surface.
- Strong construction increases the belt's product-carrying capacity.
- All welds are treated and every belt is thoroughly cleaned as standard.
Where spiral grid belts are used
The standard choice for spiral systems in food production, where floor space is tight and product needs time to freeze, cool or proof.

Spiral Grid Belt FAQs
What is a spiral grid belt used for?
Mainly spiral freezers, coolers and proofers. The belt winds around a central drum, so a long conveying path fits into a small footprint.
Can a spiral grid belt run straight as well as around curves?
Yes. It runs on straight sections and through 180° or 360° turns.
Which materials are available?
Spiral grid belts are made from SS304 or SS316 stainless steel. SS316 suits wetter, saltier or more corrosive environments.
Can you add side guards?
Yes. Side guards are available in 24, 26 and 38.1 mm heights, as well as mesh overlay, rod-only and middle link designs.
Do you supply sprockets?
Yes. Sprockets are made to order to match the belt's pitch and your drive shaft, in the material you need.
What do you need from me for a quote?
The belt width and length, what it will carry, the operating temperature and, if possible, drawings, photos or details of your current belt. Use the quote form on this page or send us a WhatsApp.
