Wire mesh baking belt
Ultra-Thin Flattened Mesh Belt

Ultra-thin flattened mesh belts are designed specifically for baking. Their thin, lightweight structure has low thermal inertia, so heat transfers faster and air circulates freely – giving even, consistent baking and less product build-up on the belt.
- Made for baking ovens
- 2.0–3.0 mm thick
- 6.5–12.2 kg/m²
- Looped or welded edges
- Runs over small drums
Five standard types are listed below; other specifications are available on request.

How a flattened mesh belt is built
The belt is built from high-strength materials in a lightweight, compact structure with reduced thickness, so it stays durable and flexible.
Looped or welded edges give smooth contact with drums, especially small-diameter ones, and protect against wear from side guides and scraper blades.
An advanced manufacturing process keeps the wires precisely aligned, creating a larger open area while keeping the belt strong.
Why choose an ultra-thin flattened mesh belt
- Lightweight and compact – low thermal inertia for fast, energy-efficient baking.
- Open mesh for excellent air circulation and even heat distribution.
- Durable construction for reliable, continuous use.
- Looped or welded edges run smoothly over small-diameter drums.
- Special edge finish prevents wear from side guides and scraper blades.
Where flattened mesh belts are used
Made for industrial baking lines – biscuits, crackers, bread and snacks.

Ultra-thin Flattened Mesh Belt FAQs
Why use an ultra-thin belt for baking?
The thin, lightweight structure has low thermal inertia, so heat transfers faster and bakes more evenly while using less energy.
Which types are available?
Five standard types: EBZ-47, EBZ-47-R, EBZ-48, EBZ-48-S and EBZ-28, from 2.0 to 3.0 mm thick.
Will it run over small drums?
Yes. Looped or welded edges are designed for smooth contact with drums, especially small-diameter ones.
Is it easy to clean?
The open, precisely aligned mesh helps prevent product build-up, which makes cleaning easier.
What do you need from me for a quote?
The belt width and length, what it will carry, the operating temperature and, if possible, drawings, photos or details of your current belt. Use the quote form on this page or send us a WhatsApp.
